Food shouldn't be in short supply: Milk, eggs, chicken, should be very inexpensive...?

Oh but so much is related to 'overhead'. You have to remember everything is much more expensive now. Its a big snowball effect. I could go on and on but I will just give a couple examples.... The cost of fuel to haul a tanker full of milk is ridiculous. The cost of steel to build that tanker is enormous.
