Tongue Piercing Swelling?

i got my tongue pierced 2 days ago..and of course swelling is expected..but how long? its swelled up alot and the ball is imprinted into my tongue now and I'm scared its going to keep swelling higher and higher until the ball is barely seen..how do i keep swelling down? please help me..
