Have gains from the UK involvement in military conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya been worth the losses?

Indeed - what gains? Iraq was, by any interpretation of international law, wholly illegal. Afghanistan is ill-conceived, ill-administered and ultimately futile. As for Libya, the less said the better. Yet another British liberal intervention, as with Kosovo and Iraq, and yet another example of politicians seeking to fight to the last drop of someone else's blood.
