Lacrosse: Should I buy the STX Thrash or STX Racy stick?

If you are only choosing from these two, go Thrash. I have never used it but know that it is higher quality. I own a Racy and it sucks. The balance is weird, the head is too wide for good cradling, and it is just a cheap beginners stick. If you are open to other brands, I love my debeer intuition (no longer made) but the debeer tempest is very similar. DeBeer also has the offset in the shaft which is interesting. Just don't go racy because even if you are a beginner, your skills will develop faster than the tweens the racy is made for. The scoop on the thrash may be a little difficult, but you will get used to it, and that narrow channel will probably give you lots of accuracy.
