Is it possible to support both peace and war?

I know they contradict each other but I am for the war right now and I support out troops 100% but I am also for peace. I think that war is necessary to an extent but after peace should be made. I also believe in peace in other ways such as being at peace with oneself. So I believe in both. Is that weird/wrong of me? Please don't slam my views or disrespect my opinion. Thank you.
