yes I think that's fine. You shouldn't ask someone out unless you really want to anyway, and there will come a time when it'll be more than a crush. Just don't worry about it, it will come up when it comes up. How old you are makes absolutely no difference when it comes to the quality of the relationship you'll have when the girl comes that you just have to have. :)
