Doctors..... PLEASE HELP....My throat?

Today around 5-5:30 my throat started feeling funny. A little later it got worse... It feels like there is something stuck in my throat, the only thing is i haven't eaten anything that could be lodged in my throat. This morning i ate 2 toaster strudels, at lunch i ate spaghetti-o's and meat. It hurts when i swallow, when i cough, and even when i put my chin to my chest. It doesn't hurt when i talk. This is not a typical sore throat.. The pain is right behind my adams apple (i don't know the correct term) and it is in the front of my throat not the back. I plan on going to the doctor in the morning but still asking until then...What does this sound like.... I am scared...
