Fist time in Vegas. I narrowed down the two Hotels I would like to stay in. Luxor or NYNY? Any advice?

This will be my first time going to Las vegas and I'm indecisive in which hotel to choose. NY-NY is about 25 dollars cheaper than Luxor so I really don't know which one to choose. We are going in a group of young people ages 21-25
